There are still gobs of little things to do here since we’ve moved, so there have been no real entries. Amanda is/was on call last night, so she will be home shortly hopefully. Lainie is visiting, and we have been exploring downtown when I have not been working.

No recaps, but today was the end of my vacation; I actually had to work for a living. Amanda starts working tomorrow, so she spent the day running yet more errands.

So yes, I worked and did a bunch of life administrative tasks (like opening yet another bank acount in solely my name so that I can wire money to it easily). Afterwards, I worked out at the apartment complex gym. I am in Not Great Shape, but I am getting better.

Amanda and I then went off to go canoeing in Lake Union/Washington with her incoming family medicine compatriots. It was fun, but we had problems tracking the canoe; more than one paddling person requires more coordination than we have apparently.

Some of the residents went out to dinner, but we headed back home because I was exhausted after spending most of the previous night trying to work, then working during the day, working out in the gym, and then canoeing. We stopped by Trader Joe’s a few blocks down from home (the first time I had been to one), picked up some groceries, and made dinner. Amanda is asleep now, and I will be shortly.

It still seems kinda hard to believe that I don’t live in Ithaca now.
