poor little mussel
once alive but now just sits
in a tasty sauce

the kitchen is clean!
but here comes gorbling toddler
entropy prevails

toddler girl chortles
then falls from the spinny thing
blatant papa fail

cat and toddler stare
hands grasp for the flitting tail
but out comes the claw

maio! maio! cries the cat
as rain splatters around him
