We had a relaxing bfast with Eve. Amanda made coffee cake. At noon we watched a webcast of a wedding (Karl’s brother). He was getting married in Las Vegas by the King! It was interesting to be sure.
Eve then took off (I am not sure where), but Amanda and I headed downtown to the Seattle Art Museum. The place had been closed for renovations for the entire time we lived in Seattle. I think. But it reopened over the weekend and admission was free for 35 continuous hours.
We had to pick up tickets with a specified entrance time when we got there, so we headed to a nearby Tully’s for coffee and a snack. We had a few gift cards from our realtor (what a great guy) that Amanda’s has been trying to use for a while.
The museum itself was cool. They had many different types of art which Amanda liked. I would have liked to see less variety of types and more quantity myself.
We ran into Bob, the head of Family Medicine at Harborview. He said he was going to physically exercise later to balance out the mental exercise he was getting at the museum.
We stopped by a cell phone store to check out the new phones since Amanda’s phone is acting funny. We did not get any new ones, though, as more research is necessary. I imagine we will probably get whatever ones we can get for free for extending our contract.
We had more spinach and onions from our garden for dinner. And some pasta that we did not make ourselves. I am making another batch of biscotti right now. Amanda is sleeping.
