Amanda had the day off and went off and did whatever today. I always thought she was going to return imminently, but she did not return until around 4pm. Unfortunate, as otherwise I would have worked rather than putter around and do random idle stuff.
We had dinner at Tamarind Tree with Karl, Eve, and a visiting friend of Karl’s (Mo?). She is an OB/GYN outside of Sacramento. Dinner was alright, although it is now apparent that their service is always really really slow. We had dessert at our place, but they did not stay long because Mo is allergic to cats!
Amanda lost her credit card on her jaunts today without me (she discovered this fact at dinner), so she had to cancel it. She got a call later as one of the places she stopped found it, but it did not matter at that point. I wondered how they found her phone number, but they must have gotten it from their call history/caller id as she had called some places before canceling the card.
