We had Eve and Christy (Christie? Chrissy? Kristy?) over for dinner yesterday. We made a lot of standard Amanda holiday dishes. I made a mushroom pie which was good, but a little too rich; I think such things are better without the gobs of dairy (which usually is good). It was fun.
Today we did not really do much. It was very nice outside, so we went to the arboretum and fed the waterfowl. There were many people there (walking about that is).
Amanda is currently sleeping in preparation for her 7pm-7am shift in the ER tonight. I am cleaning up the office (I never really did unpack everything) and sorting through all of our digital backups of things as I am running out of storage capacity. Maybe I’ll write a little more documentation for work, or perhaps I will finally move my weblog over to WordPress and start updating our gallery.
