It was a clear day today. It was clear enough to see Mt. Baker which is always cool. The mountain was completely white.
I talked with Kelly and Bryan and Mandy (the latter two for the first time in a while). We don’t see much of the neighbors much anymore since it is cold and wet out most of the time. Well, I do see Bryan and Mandy through out kitchen window regularly. They got new blinds finally; they were inspired by ours and got the same type.
I met our new neighbors who started moving in today. They are two women whose names I have already forgotten. Which is bad as that is something I want to get better at. Bryan, Mandy, and Kelly asked me if they were “together”, but I have no idea.
Uh, oh, I hear piglet crying upstairs. She is probably playing with her orange stuffed mouse.
I have been working on recaping my trip to New Mexico, but I will not get that posted before I leave for Nashville tomorrow.
I leave around 12:45pm which is good as I can take the bus to the airport, thereby saving all kinds of money. Only $1.25 one way according to the website, although since it is out of the city limits I would have thought it would be more (as I cross a transportation “zone”). Since my flight to New Mexico was very early, it would have been risky to take the bus as even if they were all on time it would have been tight. As it is, I will probably the house around 9am to make it into town and then pick up a bus to Federal Way (which stops at the airport).
I have almost finished house preparations, and now I just have to pack. Our piece of carry-on luggage that I took to New Mexico I left with Amanda. I took the big piece she had brought out back home along with practically all of her clothes (so she would have less to cart around later). As now I don’t have a carry-on, I finally fixed my green backpack by scavenging some buckles from our duffel bags. Time to pack…
