Amanda is off to a reservation in New Mexico for a month. Piglet and I are sad already. I will see her next in Nashville when I fly back east for Thanksgiving.
I did the usual life maintenance stuff today. I also did a lot of P-Patch work to finsh up our community service requirement; we need to do eight hours a year. I think we already had already gone over that minimal requirement, but Amanda was lax on recording her hours. Regardless, I spent a lot of time cleaning up the Children’s plot for the winter… the Children’s plot supposedly is for entertaining the kiddies, so we grow stuff like strawberries and pumpkins and whatnot for them. I will probably do more tomorrow.
I am still slightly ill, but now I feel more out-of-shape ill. I have not run in a couple of weeks, and that is all it takes nowadays for me to become insta-tub-of-lard. Or at least feel like it.
