I was out back talking with Mandy, Kevin, and Greg, and I saw a crow up on Kevin and Greg’s roof chewing on one of the exhaust vents! They screamed at him, but he just laughed down at us. Mandy then got out a pump air rifle that did not look like the most accurate thing in the world, and shot at the chortling crow (with Kevin and Greg’s permission, although Bryan said: “I’m not paying for one of their windows if you take one out!”). It kept laughing as she missed.
Unfortunately for the crow, she nailed it on the next shot, and it let out an indignant squawk as it flapped off.
Note for the nature lovers: I highly doubt the crow was injured.
Later we heard much discussion amongst the usual murder of crows. We could not decide if they were plotting a counterattack.
