Amanda has finished with the pediatric ER (she basically changes every month now); she started sports medicine again today. It is apparently as relaxing as it was last year. She bicycled to the work location. It took her 45 minutes one way.
We had dinner with Dave and Molly at the Baguette Box. We were going to have pizza at one place, but they did not have enough workers (!) and were not serving pizza tonight. We were reminded on why we did not usually go to most parts of Capitol Hill nowadays because it is a pain in the ass to find parking.
Amanda has had an outrageous amount of days off. She had last Wednesday and Thursday off and now has the next four days off. Crazy.
We are going to go to the Olympics for some backpacking. It should be fun; I have seen them all the time since moving to Seattle (as they do dominate the western horizon), and we will finally get to see them. I think we are going to the less popular western side because the beaches and eastern side will be mobbed on this long weekend.
I need to get some things working for my client by the middle of next week, so I will be up most of tonight and the night we get back. Work has been a bit frustrating, and not everything has been under my control, but ya know if everything was fuzzy panda bears everyone would do it.
Poor piglet piglet will not have any company. We are not having anyone check up on her because, well, we weren’t thinking about it. She should be fine, though. I hope she does not take her frustrations out on various parts of the house. I already know her litter box areas will be wastelands.
