It was not as hot today, but still unseasonably warm. Amanda had many plans since it was her day off, but she was wilting in the heat. After a long sleep, we decided to run errands sloooooowly in air conditioned locations. So that is what we did.
Amanda did spend time thinking about putting in a little pond in the front yard. I think it is a great idea, but the fact is we won’t get to it anytime soon; witness the fact that we have not finished painting yet. There are countless projects to do. It wouldn’t be that expensive really… we just need a liner, but it would take a lot of work. Maybe we can reconsider after we finish painting and unpacking.
We had dinner with Eve later at the Elliot Bay Brewing Company in West Seattle. It was alright. We relaxed at her place with Satchel and then returned home to our little one.
My shoulder/arm was absolutely killing me today; it has not hurt this bad in quite a while. My lack of resistance exercising is probably the culprit; lifting weights had done wonders. I have been running, but obviously I do not have access to a gym anymore. I need to figure out what I can do about that.
