Amanda is sleeping. She basically gets home around 7:30am, sleeps, and gets up between 3:30pm and 4pm. She showers, eats something, and I take her to the hospital around 4:40pm. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Night float is worse than the day shift because she works 14+ hour shifts rather than the 11+ hour shifts during days; those three hours make a big difference. That hardly seems fair. Well, she switches rotations to the Family Medicine Service at UW in the middle of next week.
Work is work. I am looking forward to sabbatical even though it won’t really be a vacation as I have to look for another job. Or make some other plans for the more immediate future anyways.
I will be meeting Paul this evening for dinner and whatnot. According to an email, he seemed to be impressed with Seattle from his three hour exposure to it yesterday. The sun was out, so perhaps that is not surprising. Dunno what we will do; perhaps just walk around Capitol Hill and/or downtown and take it from there.
