It is between 31 and 35 degrees outside right now. I vaguely recall hearing that it would be unseasonably cold, perhaps because of the lack of cloud cover. I do not think it gets much colder than this normally. In spite of the coldness outside, it is rather warm inside, and I do not have the heat on. Flippin’ Sweet! (my Napolean reference). I certainly will not miss the heating bills of upstate New York; they are supposed to be even more crazy this year.
Now I am waxing nostalgic for my old house on Wood Street in Ithaca where the average winter temp inside was just under 40 degrees. I bumped it up when Amanda and the piglet moved in. They were still cold, though!
I fell asleep after I took Amanda to the hospital. My sleeping schedule is completely mucked up. Unfortunately, unlike Amanda I cannot sleep during the day tomorrow. I was going to exercise, but the amenity center is crawling with people for some reason. Maybe at 3am it will clear out. Or maybe I’ll get tired.
Ah, well, there is always work. I have some things to do that will take maybe ten minutes of my time, but a couple of hours of computer time to crunch and verify.
