I have decided to face the inevitable… I really have lost my beloved waxed canvas hat. It had been with me for many many years and followed me up mountains and whatnot and protected me from untold amounts of snow and rain.
Perhaps an unnamed spouse is thinking: finally, that ratty hat is gone! Now, I have to get him to shave more consistently and get rid of all of his holey white tshirts.
I will have to get a replacement. Undoubtably, I will probably find the old hat at that point.
The unnamed spouse got home early yesterday (5pm), and we made wraps for dinner and then commenced our big weekly cleaning activities. We also cleaned the car out, but discovered the protectant stuff we used to use looked really bad on the inside of our car. So, we just cleaned everything up with soap and water. Another wax treatment is on the schedule for next week. The car gets pretty outrageously dusty and dirty even though we do not drive it very much. I guess living in a city and parking it in an underground garage will do that.
Piglet threw up her bfast this morning. She probably ate too fast. That did not stop her from screaming at me for replacement food. I decided to let her chow down on her plant instead and feed her more a bit later.
P. S. I apologise to the unnamed spouse for that previous comment. Totally uncalled for as you are such a loving unnamed spouse!
