Life has been kinda crazy really. I have not had time to enjoy my last days in Ithaca. I have been working alot; unfortunately, I am not leaving my job with a gentle wave and relaxing times. I guess I cannot expect them to pay for me nothing, eh? I don’t think I can handle going through a product cycle when I know I am not going to be with the company (why put yourself through the pain?), so perhaps it is good I will not see my latest project(s) ship.
We are going to be moving in a month. It still seems hard to believe to me. Amanda will be heading out to Seattle in a few days to get an apartment for us as she is done with medical school and has the time. She will look at as many as she can in 1.5 days and sign a lease before she leaves. It is unlikely that we will find a perfect place (does anyone?) considering we know nothing about the area and have such a short period of time to look, but it does not matter as we will only stay there for a year. Amanda will basically look at places very close to Harborview (where the majority of her time will be).
Time to start getting rid of our stuff in Ithaca. We will only be taking what we can drive with (plus books which we will ship). And the piglet, although we are still considering how to get her out to the west coast.
