I had my yearly performance review today at work. I will be getting a nice bonus and raise for next year. woot! I am always shocked at such things because the places I have worked for usually have wage freezes for years and whatnot, so such things usually did not happen.
Of course, I am going to be moving soon, so the raise may be moot. I did bring that up during the review, but we will have the details out later (i.e. will I stay with the company indefinitely, until my last project is complete, or whatever, or just leave in May). Who knows. Later, I presume, means in the coming week, as there are not many weeks left before we must be moving.
Amanda wants to have a celebratory dinner. We still have not had a celebratory dinner for matching in Seattle yet. I suppose we should enjoy the good life while I am still employed :) :) :) as who knows what the financial future is. Amanda says I can find myself on the weekends, tho, so staying at home with the cat does not seem to be an option.
