no eggs

So the angelfish eggs were very short lived (like, less than a day). We do not know what happened to them, but I suspect that the parents went ahead and ate them since they knew it was futile. I had observed them looking like they were going to eat them before I left for work on Friday.
Anyways, I doubt they would have lasted the evening once the catfish came out to play.
If we wanted to breed them, we would have to move them to another tank to eliminate the threat of the other fish, plus we would have to do something about the filtration, as once the eggs hatched the little ones would be at mercy to the current in the tank. A bit of research revealed that they could try again in a couple of weeks if the tank conditions were favorable, but I do not think I will try to move them and the plant substrates to another tank.
