JFK

I am back on the east coast and am sitting in jetBlue’s terminal area enjoying their free wireless connection. I just had a way overpriced tomato and mozzarella wrap, but what can you do about that. The terminal is interesting in that the gates are hidden among all the shops and are not as obvious as in most airports. They also tend to blare annoucements all the time.
jetBlue is definitely cool; I had never flown on them before. there are no weird bourgeois* class distinctions, and the free satellite TV was very nice. The flight attendants were very intent on making sure everyone had their seatbelts on and that luggage was properly stored at all times.
I accidently walked off with Vishal’s laundry room key (and a set of apartment building keys), so I will have to send them back soonest. Fortunately, we FedEx stuff from work daily, so I can send them interoffice mail.
I am pretty tired, but I still have to work today. I imagine I will arrive there in six our seven hours. My flight to Syracuse does not leave for another three or so hours.
I wonder what adventures Amanda is having right now?
*I have to admit I used a word processor’s spellcheck for that word because I had no idea how to spell it.
