one, the golfish, just passed away. amanda and i just buried him in our backyard in a place he will hopefully not be disturbed.
we do not know exactly the cause of death, but it appeared to be either a swim bladder infection or severe conspitation combined with stress. we never saw evidence of an infection tho, although his companion was definitely ill.
three, the other goldfish, still seems slightly out of sorts. i will get some peas for him tomorrow. or perhaps i will give him some rolled oats. we stopped giving them the oats a month or so ago because we thought it might have made them more prone to disease; hopefully that was not a mistake.
