apparently phish played its last concert over the weekend. crazy. i remember seeing them in bars when i was still an undergraduate and trekking out to amy’s farm in maine to camp out and see them play in a field. they got very popular, and i did not like them enough to travel so far to see them play much bigger venues, so i had not seen them play in ten years or so. if i had known it would be their last concert, i may have tried to go. my coworker carsten apparently went (i did not know he liked them) and there were an outrageous number of people there; i think they sold 170k official tickets… who knows how many more just showed up. he had a great time.
