today we had vague designs of doing fun stuff, but we ended up doing various chores instead. as usual, amanda got up earlier than i. i do not know what she did this morning other than make pancakes and fruit sald for bfast.
while i thought about doing something with the day, amanda enchanged the shirt she bought at aeropostale the other day and did a bit of grocery shopping.
when she returned, we started to do a mega cleaning job on the two cars, but amanda succumbed to the sun and heat and had to rest in the apartment. i spent many hours cleaning the cars, but now they are quite nice. we were going to take them to delta sonic for to wash their outsides, but we decided to take care of that later. near the end of the cleaning, amanda recovered and washed the car mats in the basement sink.
amanda treated me with a bk lunch (well, dinner at that point). i relaxed a bit diddling around on the computer and idly playing computer games while amanda sorted laundry. she got mad at me for incorrectly washing one of her sweaters, but she calmed down and decided to try dye-ing it back to pure black (it looked a bit faded). the results are still unknown at this point.
we were both going to lift and run, but i had been feeling weird all day, and neither seemd a good option. amanda did do her lifting, and we went for a long walk afterwards. the weather and our energetic cleaning and whatnot had sapped much of our appetite and energy, so we just had a salad for dinner. amanda also made a peach cobbler with some of our csa peaches; i am waiting for it to cool down more before i sample it.
mysteriously, amanda has a bit of sunburn, which is odd considering she was not out in the sun all that long. the sun was way down in the sky during our walk. it’s not that bad, tho.
btw… amanda now says that she was not angry about her sweater. i don’t know about that.
