i went to wegmans after my usual workout at the gym to get some lunch and some halloween candy in case i would be home tonight and halloween revelers appeared. i got some avocado rolls and a couple pieces of maguro nigiri.
when i got home, piglet was very very interested in the nigiri. i fed her a bit, and she went crazy… screaming, demanding more, scratching my legs, and jumping about the workroom tables. i gave her a few more bits to save my skin; obviously, her normal diet of prescription dry cereal leaves much to be desired. eventually, i finished eating, and she left the room in a huff.
last night, when i opened the apartment door, i saw piglet sitting on her foodbag in the middle of the living room. she had managed to open the closet door, dragged the bag all about the room, and shredded most of it trying to get to the food inside. when i came in she just screamed at me as if she were starving and the food bag remnants were invisible. even though she had probably been stuffing herself all day, i gave her dinner anyway since it was apparent amanda had not come back home yet. tho i was tempted not to after seeing all the cat urine in the kitchen, but what can you do other than mop it up. who is the pet here?
now tho, she is very cuddly and purring in my lap.
