it was snowing again on the way back to ithaca from buffalo this morning (i made a midweek trip back yesterday after work and will return again tonight). crazy, fluffy snow, but the ground is too warm for it to stick. there were also a lot of large, disturbing red streaks and splotches on 89 and 96 between geneva and ithaca. they are much more sinister during the evening tho.
we had a fire alarm at work; vishal allegedly left some toast in the toaster oven. everyone in the building trudged out into the cold… fortunately it wasn’t currently raining or snowing. eventually, the fire department showed up (it took them a long time), and we were let back in. i speculated that if it were horrendously bad, they would have been deliged with 911 calls, and they would have gotten here quicker.
anyways, we are getting rid of the toaster ovens since we obviously cannot be trusted with such complex and dangerous equipment. apparently, we had two other toaster oven incidences (when i presumably was in buffalo).
the snapple couch is very sad and limp as it has too big holes in it now. don tried to patch it with some sealant stuff, but he only succeeded in disolving its material and making the holes bigger. he’s just going to duct tape it together, apparently.
