amanda threw up in her surgical mask during an operation today. she did not get near the patient or the sterile field, tho. she may have caught some intestinal bug or somesuch. as some other people were helping her leave, she kept crying out, “i’m gonna fail!” the nurses found this amusing and told the surgeon when they went back in, and later everyone told her not to worry about it. crazy stuff like this is apparently more common than the public knows.
“the only thing injured is your pride.” said another surgeon.
perhaps the children’s hospital staff is not as crazy as previously reported.
