amanda and i ate at toro last night with carlos and karen. erika dropped by later. they had revamped the menu, so there weren’t as many options for us, but what we ordered was good nonetheless.
amanda and erika discussed what happens during surgery third year… what the residents expect, how to scrub in, what not to do, and various other tricks of the trade. we later went home and watched men in black 2. i had watched the night before, but amanda had fallen asleep sometime in the middle.
amanda’s parents will be arriving sometime today. they will be in town for some medical school parental thing. we are planning on eating brunch with erika and then looking for some special shoes for amanda for surgery. i stiil have to finish sealing the tub, but it should be watertight now (just ugly). i guess i will also write out wedding thank you cards, but we have already obtained the cards and figured out who gave what, so that should not be too difficult.
