let me talk about the fish again since writing about how lousy the weather is (tho it was sunny today) and how much amanda and i work is not very inspiring.
the goldfish tank is getting kinda cloudy again. i change about a third of the water every week and it still gets cloudy. hard to say exactly what it is. goldfish are just messy fish. i tried transplanting some of the snails from the catfish tank (via a worm cube lure) into the goldfish tank in hopes that they might do some filtering, but the goldfish would have none of that. they ate both the worms and the snails. at least i know what i can do when the snails get out of control in the other thanks.
i also took the plastic archways (a gift from amanda) out of the goldfish tank because i think they bump into it a lot and damage their scales. the arches when into the tetra tank… to which i think i will add more neons shortly.
walt and vishal are still at work, too, and its almost 9pm. but that is not unusual, i guess. traian was doing donuts in the parking lot today because, well, he can. his alleged reason was to check to make sure the rear wheels that he had just replaced were on tight enough. traian is like a living, breathing project gotham racing driver.
traian has a vanity plate with “GOVNO” on it; apparently it means “shit” in russian. he says it is “worse” than shit in english. why he has this word on his car is a bit mysterious.
