another fish has died; it was the harlequin raspbora. i think it was a combination of stress due to the lack of friends and the fact that he was much less aggressive in feeding with the tetras. i had orginally had more of them, but they perished in the great ick explosion the tank had when i first got them all a couple years ago. i had kept my eyes out for more friends for him at the various stores around here, but alas, only recently had some arrived, and i had not yet implemented my plan for rearranging the thanks to accomodate more fish, so it was too late for our friend.
on a more practical note, i stuck his body in with our basil, but that freaked amanda out, so i put him outside in the flowers instead.
i tried to go to the dmv again, but there was another crazy long line. people wiser than i had brought their breakfasts with them and were eating in line. maybe i’ll try again tomorrow.
