amanda called the piglet “porculent” today! harsh! and it isn’t even a word. if piglet was stumbling around with her belly buffing the floor, perhaps i would consider her worthy of such a moniker. it’s not like she’s so fat that she can only catch mice trapped in her gravitational field after all.
amanda and i went to an outlet mall in waterloo with her mom to look for more appropriate interview wear for her. she was successful, and she left from waterloo to head back to ohio since ithaca is actually farther away from wooster. although that seems odd, since waterloo is north of ithaca, but driving on 17 across the southern tier is always painful due to its curvy nature… 90 is a much more direct and speedy road.
we also stopped by a jewelry place to get another data point on our ring sizes. one of the saleswoman was really funny as she kept trying on all the rings herself and saying stuff like, “no, i don’t like that.” perhaps it was her first day.
otherwise, ’tis yet another day at work for me and amanda. it’s freakishly sunny here which is making it hard for me to concentrate on work, but maybe i’ll take a break and go for a run before the sun sets.
