life has been pretty static, what with me working and amanda studying for the boards all the time. since we come into work everyday and i no longer drive to buffalo since it’s the summer, both of us are having a hard time remembering what day it is.
we finally finish dorking around with our wedding invitations; now all that remains is to address them and mail them off.
amanda and i went out for a run before dinner through the wildflower preserve. hopefully, i will continue to do so everyday (or perhaps even actually start bicyling to work again).
ok, so nothing exciting is happening other than work. sad but true. i have not had the inspiration to write a haiku recently either.
the weekend promises to be exciting, tho, as my friend dave is coming down from nyc this weekend, jesse will be coming a few days later, erika will also be coming down from buffalo, and it’s amanda’s birthday next week. woohoo. the ithaca festival is also this weekend.
perhaps amanda and i will go to the heights cafe for her birthday. we went to pangea last year…. a worthy place, but i like the hieghts better. tho perhaps we should not have such a decadent meal and save our monies for other things (medical school loans, rent, utilities, and whatnot). i must admit i do like eating out (one of my many vices i suppose), but tis a good way be parted with ones money very quickly. i’ve been keeping that vice under wraps for the most part tho.
