it was a lazy saturday; at least for me. amanda spent most of the day studying for her last exam of this school year, while i kinda didn’t really do a whole lot. let’s see, i puttered about the apartment, went to the gym. woohoo. later amanda and i skated to delaware park, puttered around, and came back. i guess it’s obvious that i did a lot of puttering about today.
we ate dinner a “the o restaurant and lounge” to celebrate the end of her second year of med school. it used to be called “osaka” when it was on main street, but they moved for some unknown reason to a new place in northtown plaza. it was pretty crowded; apparently, suny buffalo’s commencement was today.
the food seemed pretty much the same as before, but the decor was very different. i thought the old place was better with its emphasis on black and natural wood. the new place, while bigger in the dining and separate bar area, is all blue and weird and jazz club looking (but without clouds of smoke).
