i bought at new shower curtain for our new apartment in ithaca… yellow duckies! it enlivens the bathroom quite a bit, which is a good thing because the aprtment looks like, well, a cheap basement apartment. however, the kitchen area was recently upgraded; the stove and refrigerator and cabinets are new. as for the walls, we will probably just cover them up with paintings, tapestries, and the like. so once we actually move in things will get better.
natalie and i did yet more moving. its getting pretty old already, as it seems like i have been moving for the past two years. amanda moved four times in her first year in med school, and then i moved a lot of stuff from ithaca to buffalo when we settled down in a place there, and now i have been moving yet more stuff to buffalo and to a new place in ithaca. blech.
perhaps it is time to sleep, since there is yet more moving to be done tomorrow. and work… can’t forget about that…
