I saw a male Anna’s Hummingbird flitting about our yard this morning. He hovered in the air and looked at me for quite a while, but then he took off after I acquired and turned on my camera. I had seen hummingbirds here before, but I was unsure which species they were and if they were merely passing through. I don’t think Amanda would approve of a feeder, but fortunately, she ain’t the boss of me.
