Now that I am even more old and senile I don’t remember enough of the entry I lost to recap the week/weekend before last. But here is a stream of consciousness list:
- It rained a lot.
- We had sweet potato quesadillas at Eve’s.
- I had lunch with Larry in Kent.
- I obtained a Heatilator blower for $199 and installed it in our fireplace. I ignored the instructions and did not cut the power before wiring everything up and fortunately was not electrocuted. I also ignored the written pleas to wear gloves to avoid sharp edges and unfortunately got a small but freakin’ deep laceration in my thumb. It bled a lot.
- Also fortunately, I have had a tetanus shot in the last few years.
- We went to the Experience Music Project for free during Museum Day.
- We thought the parking guy outside the Seattle Center must have been collecting extra money since parking was either $5 or $6 depending on which side of the sign one looked at.
- Amanda was very unhappy one morning because she had no clean underwear (a freak occurrence since she has a two+ week supply and many laundry loads had been done) and
screamed a bitsquawked a lot at me, but due to her vast quantities of pregnancy hormones and the locating of an emergency pair of underwear she insta-cheered up.
Due to my leaky brain, all the other stuff that happened will only be remembered through therapy.
edited Amanda line item at her request to be “more accurate”
