Piglet is very unhappy with us. She no longer wants to eat any of her food… probably because she thinks we are hiding medicine in it. She is now incredibly adept at keeping her mouth closed while we attempt to give her her pills. She was always very good and hiding pills in her gums and them spitting them out away from our view. Amanda got some pharmaceutical stuff the other day so that we could grind the pills up and squirt the medicines down her throat, and that worked for a while. Now she immediately foams up and vomits. Ug.
I think we only have a few more days left for her antibiotic treatments. There was stuff growing in her cultures, so hopefully she did just have some infection. But I will take her in again for a checkup next week.
She still seems not quite right, but that is probably due to the pain stuff we are giving her. That might also be affecting her appetite as well. Otherwise, I have not seen and more blood in her urine, and she does not appear to be trying to empty her bladder all the time anymore, so I am hopeful she will be fine.
