We got back from Kaua’i last night. I misread the bus schedule; I had thought the express bus downtown would still be running when we got back at around 9pm, but it was not, and we were reluctant to take the more local one as it could take quite a while. And since we would have to get another connection downtown, we did not want to take another couple of hours to get back home, so we coughed up the money for a taxi — $35, not bad for both of us.
We spent much of this morning cleaning up the house as piglet was running wild for the past week. She did not cause as much damage as she has in the past, though. She seems to be suffering from constipation and/or other bowel/urinary weirdness… undoubtedly due to gorging herself on her dry prescription food. Hopefully switching back the wet food (which we still have to obtain as we ran out before vacation) will make her happier.
Amanda is currently grocery shopping with Mandy. I have been cleaning and just got back from thinning radishes and lettuce in our garden. Now it is time for more cleaning and whatnot.
I still need to post our pictures and recap the vacation. Amanda is dubious that I will do so, since I never got around to recapping or posting my New Mexico trip last November. She says she is already prepared to recap the vacation and will do so faster than I.
