Amanda is on call today (i.e. the type of call where she only has to go in if necessary), but effectively she has been there most of today. She was away from 7am-5pm (excluding transit time) and was home for maybe an hour-and-a-half before getting called in again. If she has to stay all night tonight they theoretically have to let her leave at around noon tomorrow due to work hour rules; otherwise she has a “normal” work shift… whatever that means for this rotation.
I spent the day cleaning and doing random house stuff. And a bit of “work” related things. I cleaned up the garden a bit, too; some of the broccoli we planted last year is finally growing florets. The remaining kale is also very very happy. Too bad for them as they are going to get eaten in the next couple of weeks as we put in this years spring/summer crops. I pulled the remaining carrots from the ground so that we could make carrot cake. The worms had eaten some of them, but otherwise they are fine. We probably had a couple of pounds left.
We had baked fusilli and cheese for dinner. I still have to clean up and then I will get some more billable hours in.
