Poor Amanda is still at UW. She was there for the Family Medicine Service this morning, and then she went to Haborview for clinic in the afternoon. She was/is on call for the service all night, though, and she had to go back to UW to take care of multiple laboring women. I was talking to her on the phone, and she was about to leave, but then she thought “I think I will have to take care of this admission.” Hopefully she will actually get able to come back home tonight. She does have tomorrow off.
I had an outrageously productive day with a whopping twelve billable hours. Woo. I am currently in the middle of writing up my progress reports and invoices so I can get paid again. The last couple of weeks have been good work wise; there were some deader periods in January and February (one of which was due to my stupidity really).
We were going to celebrate HK’s birthday today (which was actually a couple of days ago), but obviously that did not happen. I wonder if she got caught up at UW as well as I think she is doing OB/GYN. She was wondering if she should have a party, but then was worried that no one would come, so we were just going to go out to a bar or whatever.
