I got a cheap rubbermaid container over the weekend to use as a worm bin (while Amanda was off with another person shopping for clothes at Bell Square). I still have yet to fully set it up, but I have started trying to catch worms rather than just buying them. My technologically advanced method is to put a wet piece of cardboard out in our yard and then catch the ones that come up to eat the cardboard. Brilliant! I am not sure if the species will be optimal for the worm bin, but that does not matter. I can always let them go later.
