Little piglet is sad because it has warmed up; her companions now see little reason to turn on the fire. At least, the long-haired one sees no reason. She is mournfully curled up on the couch now.
Amanda had clinic and then didactics today, but then one of her clinic patients was getting induced, so she went off to help with that. She is on call at Valley tomorrow, so she will have had a busy two-and-a-half days…. like working most of that 60 hour period. I imagine that she will have to be back home by 11pm or so to get her mandated eight hours not working in before her overnight, but I am unsure how the legalities work for stuff like this (i.e. I don’t think she was “required” to handle the delivery tonight).
I got mega stuck on some contract stuff for the past week, but had a slight breakthrough today. Unfortunately, I am unsure how much I should charge for the work as it is unclear how much of my troubles were due to my stupidity and how much due to the tasks themselves. I suppose the answer will come to me.
The new owner of the parcel next to our townhouses had brought one of those huge backhoes out, and it was knocking down the decrepit house on said parcel. I suppose we will have a spring filled with the noise of construction. Good for property values, though.
