Amanda eventually made it home. We debated what to do, but then decided to go ahead and go to the Bite of Seattle. There were a lot of people there… more than when we went last year. We sampled some food, listened to music, blah blah blah. It was really hot, although not record breaking like yesterday was. Standing underneath the spraying International Fountain was very popular.
Back at home we did a massive weeding job in our garden and started thinning out some of the plants. Amanda was sad about that.
It was a little too steamy in our townhouse to really eat, so we just had some salad. Amanda is hot and tired and is trying to sleep. It is still a little too hot for me, but maybe I will go upstairs and read.
It is supposed to be hot tomorrow, too. Amanda has the day off. She was thinking about hiking, but I dunno about that if it is this hot. Maybe we will take advantage of someone’s air conditioning and watch a movie.
