OK, the gallery is just slow, and there is not a whole lot I can do about it until the next version comes out as I am using a shared hosting plan and do not have full control over things.
I still have to upgrade our weblog software (at least update this weblog to use it as I already installed it), but a bug I found in the latest version has not been fixed yet. Or maybe it has for paying customers. Ah, well.
