Another exciting thing that happened the other day was that I washed a pen that was in one of Amanda doctor coats. While it made it through the wash fine, it exploded in the dryer (where Amanda eventually found it) and did a good job of splashing ink all over the dryer barrel and clothes (which of course were white… at least to begin with). I spent a long time cleaning out the dryer and verifying the ink stains were stable.
As for the clothes, they are toast for the most part. They were mainly my white tshirts and socks along with Amanda’s doctor coats. I have been trying to get the splotches out of the coats and am finding some success. As for everything else, they have become car rags.
Amanda said later that it was a “sign” that I should no longer wear ratty white tshirts because “[I] could look so hot” otherwise.
