Nothing much going on. I am trying to wrap up stuff at work, but it is hard to concentrate on things (being a “short timer” and all). At the moment, I am hashing out what my final day will be with the company; it will probably be after I finish my current project plus a few weeks of buffer. At the moment I anticipate it being August or somesuch, but things could change if, for example, they manage to find someone to take over for me.
Amanda is freaking out about finances, but perhaps she can’t help it as she is quite high strung (although less so than when I first met her). Must’ve been that financial aid exit interview we had a few weeks ago.
She is off to Buffalo now to finish off her ER rotation; I think she has five to seven shifts left. And viola! she will be done.
The Time Warner cable guy came over to our house yesterday. Our internet connection has really sucked over the past few weeks. The signal to the cable modem had deteriorated due to unknown factors (weather? other physical cable problems?), but he did a lot inside and outside the house and now everything is peachy again.
The little piglet has had many adventures outside. We think she is supplementing her diet with unfortunate outside creatures as she is not nearly as hungry as she normally is. She still seems to be losing weight, though.
I probably have some sort of biliary colic. Don’t know what can be done about that. I suppose I will try to get in to see Dr. Kuntz or one of his fellow clinic compatriots; he himself is booked for like ten more days.
I learned to knit over the weekend. woot. However, it may not be the type of repetitive stress activity that is good for me.
