I picked up Natalie from Syracuse airport last night. She had been on a trip to Seattle to see Andy and Jenn, former fellow Von Cramm cooperative members and Victoria to see Aswea and Ilka, her former housemates in Edmonton, but she had gotten trapped in Chicago because of outrageous thunderstorms and hail. So, we ended up getting back into Ithaca at 2am or thereabouts.
I accidently drove to pick her up the night before last as I thought she said she was coming in on Tuesday. I neglected to actually check the date on the itinerary she gave me (the date was on a different printout page than all the flight info for some reason). That was foolish of me. On the other hand, the drive to Syracuse is pretty fast (one and a quarter hour one way). Anything less than three hours (the Buffalo/Ithaca drive) seems very short to me now.
Amanda is back from NYC. She apparently spent all the time helping Lainie look for apartments. She is an expert on a small area of Manhatten now.
She will be taking yet another set of medical boards this weekend. We get to drive back to Syracuse for that.
