on the way home

i am sitting at sea-tac idly watching monday night football (packers vs. rams), working, and browsing the net. i sprung for the one day of wireless internet in the terminal for $6.95 because it is much easier to work with an internet connection. yeah, that’s it.
my flight is not until 2347 or something like that. the terminal here is pretty empty… i am in the “N” terminal. actually, more people sat down near me because i am sitting by the only free tv in the area; all the rest are in the sports bar. admittedly, i would go to the sports bar as well, but it is easier to work here rather than be tempted to talk to the bartenders and whatnot.
i got a bit lost getting to the airport. amanda (and the doctor coworker who came to pick her up for a late clinic) gave me slightly incorrect directions to get on interstate 5, and i went quite a bit out of my way. obviously, i should have looked at a map before i started driving. once on the interstate, all was well, as airports are almost always easy to find.
alright, time to find a plug i can sit next to… debugging in three instances of visual studio really burns down the batteries…
p.s. luv you amanda! :) :) :)
