four the goldfish passed away sometime today. i had the always traumatic experience of walking into the house and seeing him wrapped around the filter intake tube. it is hard to say what happened; he seemed fine this morning and had been eating ok. i buried him in one of our hanging pots outside.
five looks fine at the moment. he seems jumpy now that he does not have a friend. three does not count as his is 30+ times as massive. i will have to get him another friend at the pet store.
