life has been busy. amanda is applying to residencies and arrangng interviews, and we are researching places to live and whatnot. work is busy busy. moving always takes up a lot of my brainpower.
we went to joyce and david’s wedding last weekend. it was fun (as weddings go). amanda really got into the karaoke. the guests were perhaps the most conservative bunch i have ever seen at a wedding; basically, after the dinner, everyone left. amanda had the karaoke machine all to herself!
apparently, many people at the wedding prefered my hair braided and left hanging down. amanda pinned it up during the cocktail part and a large group of people vetoed that idea, so i let it back down again.
this weekend looks to be very busy as we will be moving everything down from buffalo to brooktondale. i also have to write some performance reviews (i guess we are doing then every six months now), which is a bit inconvenient since my computer at work is dying. only one is due by monday, tho, and i can use amanda’s notebook computer to do them.
i have not been able to get any exercise really for the past two weeks and am feeling very sluggish and heavy. i can feel my muscles atrophying which is always disconcerting. however, moving will be a big workout.
