as it turned out, no olympics were watched last night. i did get much exercising in after work. erika came over and bought us indian food for dinner! we watched “who wants to be a millionaire” and “i love the 90s” for a while, then erika played internet chess and whatnot while amanda and i did random chores.
i am again in moving hell, but we have over a month to get our stuff to brooktondale from buffalo. i have already started getting rid of stuff we don’t need, cleaning out the basement, and taking a load of stuff back to brooktondale every week. i am already pained by the process.
on the plus side, my boss at work gave the ok to go the san francisco for at least some of next january. i also managed to get thanksgiving week off, so i can go up to seattle as well when amanda is there. i should probably look for another place in sf since vishal’s place probably is not big enough for three people. tho, none of us will really be there all that much i imagine… i will confer later with vishal. i also need to consider what to do with the fishes and pigletpiglet while we are gone.
one of our goldfish (three) is not well; he appears to be tormented by some type of fungus/other infestation. however, he still is rather vigorous, and hopefully the medicine we dumped into his tank will perk him up (although the medicine made the tank a rather sickly green). the fates have not been good to our fishes recently.
