i am well into my move from giles street to brooktondale. a lot of the furniture has already been moved. natalie has already packed practically all of her stuff and moved it either to work or her car. the apartment looks like a bomb went off in it, but moving tends to do that. i do not think the rest of the move will be too painful; hopefully i will not be surprised. i will do most of the moving packing today, finish up tomorrow, and do cleaning, and do final cleaning on friday.
natalie and i disassembled a lot of our old shelves that are actually pretty worthless this morning. i took their remains along with a lot of other trash to the dump today. i had weird flashbacks from last year when moving from my downtown place, and i was visiting the dump for trash or recyclables many, many times for weeks. this visit was rather painless, although it became apparent that many of ithaca roads are now under construction.
time for a bit more work and then more packing and moving this afternoon.
