we are doing a big office move at work, so i have been cleaning out my filing cabinets and whatnot. i have been mainly tossing and shredding random crap i have accumulated. i did find most of the carbons of checks that i had written in my adult life; i had dumped then here at work to use our industrial shredder on them, but i had never gotten around to it.
way back in 92/93 life was obviously much simpler for me. i basically wrote rent, utility, and loan checks. i also was very very fond of paying the minimum for my two credit cards, tho that isn’t all that surprising. i imagine that if i checked my quicken records i just bought food and lotto tickets :) :) :).
at the moment, i make far far more now than i did then, but i am still going to by a megamillions lottery ticket today. this time i am going to win…
