i moved the catfish up from ithaca to their new larger tank. they seemed to take the journey much better than the goldfish; hopefully they weren’t too stressed out and won’t develop any diseases. i saw the upsidedown catfish for the first time in months, but they weren’t too happy about being removed from their hiding places. they made a sad mewling sound whenever i pulled them out of the water.
now, both they and the cories are ensconced in the new tank and hidden away under their slate ledges. piglet was fascinated by the catfish; their tank is at ground level… perfect for the piglet. she kept trying to grab them through the aquarium glass.
the goldfish seem much happier and hungrier. a mixed blessing.
mr. white tips’ fin’s have gotten very ragged. i will have to do something about that. when will all the fish be healthy?
i picked up lainie from the hospital this morning as her car is in the shop. i think that it was the first time that i had been to ecmc during the daytime.
soon i will do some lifting. hopefully my shoulder will remain well behaved.
